El pasado fin de semana Lorenzo se reunió con la galerista de Marigold Fine Art Gallery encargada de exponer su obra por primera vez en la India, en la ciudad de Nueva Delhi. La reunión se llevó a cabo en Londres, en el prestigioso restaurante japonés Nobu, dónde a la salida del escultor y la galerista, provocó gran revuelo entre los paparazzis que allí esperaban, lo que al artista le extrañó la situación al ya haberse retirado de la vida pública.
Last weekend, Lorenzo met with the owner of Marigold Fine Art Gallery in charge of exhibiting the artist work for the first time in India, in New Delhi city. The meeting was held in London, in the prestigious Japanese restaurant Nobu, where a crowd of paparazzi were waiting for them to come out. This situation really surprised the artist due to the fact that he has been already withdrawn from public life.
Lorenzo tuvo tiempo también para visitar una de sus esculturas expuestas en Brown Hart Gardens, dónde de forma temporal estaba expuesta “Volare” fundida en aluminio y de grandes dimensiones. De esta forma se daba preludio a la exposición de Lorenzo Quinn a través de Halcyon Gallery que se realizará en noviembre del presente año, después de haber hecho una gran muestra de la obra de Lorenzo en febrero del 2008, en la nueva sede de la galería en Bruton Street.
Lorenzo also had time to visit one of his sculptures exhibited in Brown Hart Gardens, where it was also exhibit during some time “Volare” a large molten aluminium work from the artist. By this way, it was done the prelude to the exhibition of Lorenzo Quinn through Halcyon Gallery to be held in November of this year in the new headquarters of the gallery in Bruton Street.
