Durante el mes de junio, Lorenzo visitó Qatar por encargo del gobierno del país para crear una escultura de dimensiones colosales, con una altura total de 50 metros. De momento, se trata de un proyecto confidencial, más adelante podremos dar más detalles.

During June, Lorenzo visited Qatar requested by the government in order to create a sculpture of colossal size, about 50 meters high. At the moment is a confidential project, we’ll be able to give further details later on.

En el mismo viaje el escultor tuvó la oportunidad de visitar The Cultural City, ciudad que se alojará en brevedad dentro de la capital, Doha. Se tratará de un espacio dedicado a la cultura, dónde prestigiosos artistas internacionales tendrán sus viviendas, así como sus talleres de trabajo y realizarn sus exposiciones con regularidad. Quinn será uno de los primeros habitantes de esa “ciudad”, que poco a poco se irá formando cómo un referente cultural en oriente medio

During the same trip the sculptor had the opportunity to visit The Cultural City, a city that will soon be housed within the capital, Doha. It will be a space dedicated to culture, where well known international artists will have their own homes and their workshops and where they will usually open new exhibitions. Quinn will be one of the first inhabitants of this “city” which will be gradually formed as a cultural reference point in the Middle East.
