Los socios del Barcelona Chapter perteneciente a Harley Owners Group, tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar la fundición en la que Lorenzo funde la mayor parte de sus esculturas. Anteriormente el grupo ya visitó Rafart Gallery en Almenar, pero les quedó la intriga de saber cómo la obra llegaba hasta ahí, sus pasos previos.

The members of Barcelona Chapter which belongs to the Harley Owners Club, had the opportunity to visit the foundry where Lorenzo melts the major part of his sculptures. Previously, the group had already visited Rafart Gallery in Almenar, but they felt like they wanted to know how did all those works arrived there, the previous steps.

Quinn, gran amante de las Harley, les invitó a conocer paso a paso el proceso de creación de sus obras. Todo empezó a primera hora de la mañana, cúando el propio artista con una de las motocicletas de la legendaria marca y más de otras 40, iniciaron un bonito recorrido por carreteras catalanas desde Barcelona a Valls (Tarragona-Spain).

Quinn, who is a great lover of Harleys, invited them to get to know the creating process of his works step by step. Early in the morning, the artist with one of the motorbikes of the legendary firm together with 40 other Harley initiate their journey to Valls (Tarragona-Spain), a nice trip through Catalan roads.

En qué material trabaja la base de la escultura, cuanto tiempo tarda en crear una escultura, qué materiales utiliza principalmente,…Fueron algunas de las preguntas a las que el escultor tuvo ocasión de responder. Todo ello, pasando por las distintas fases de fundición, así como vertir el bronce fundido en los moldes, montaje de las diferentes partes en esculturas muy grandes, cómo se  le da la pátina  a la obra, etc.

With what materials does he works the sculpture’s base, how long does it takes him to create a sculpture, which materials are the ones mainly used … These were some of the questions to which the sculptor had the opportunity to answer. All of this, by passing through the various stages of melting, as well as how to pour the melted bronze into the molds, casting and pouring molten bronze into molds, staging parts in big sculptures, how to patinate the work, etc.
